Salt River Project and CMBlu Energy are pioneering long-duration energy storage in AZ with their 5-MW, 10-hour project, Desert Blume. Using CMBlu’s Organic SolidFlow technology, the facility aims to store solar during the day and redistribute it at night, being able to power 1,125 homes for 10 hours.
