Hespoke in reaction to the Coup in Niger Republic and recently in Gabon, where military leaders sacked democraticgovernment of Mohammed Bazoum and Ali Bongo Ondinba.
He saaid corruptionand mismanagementof resourceshelp to spread povertyin the continent.
While calling on Africanleadersto eschew sit tightsyndrome, he cited example of Gabon whereafter second tenureof the president, he ran for third termagainst the wishes of his people and despitethe fact the country is the fourth largest oil producing countryin Africa, majorityof the citizensremain in abject poverty.
In the case of Niger despite abundantmineral resources, which includeUranium, the country remains one of the poorestcountries on earth.
In hisspecialmessage to Igbo in Ifako Ijaiye, Ezekwobi, who recentlycelebrated two decades of Igbo leadership in Ifako, urged them to continueto remain law-abiding and to cooperate with their host community.
