“Power failure can be destructive, disruptive and costly”, A UPS is a power electronic equipment designed to seamlessly restore power supply to mission-critical equipment like data centers, healthcare equipment, broadcasting equipment, telecommunication equipment, and industrial manufacturing processes or other electrical equipment where unexpected power failure could cause serious business and operational disruption
, data loss, revenue loss, and possible injuries and fatalities
We have UPS range in size from 600VA to backup a single computer to large units as much as 1mw to power an entire industrial processing line, healthcare equipment, data centers or buildings.
Aside the primary function of providing automatic short time power when the input or mains power source fails, Online UPS units are also capable in correcting common utility power problems such as; Voltage Spike or surge, sustained over-voltage, low input voltage, voltage sag, frequency variation, and harmonic distortion. UPS can be categorized into two, the line-interactive UPS and the Online UPS, We will recommend that only online UPS be installed as backup your mission-critical equipment and operations
Gamatronic’s Technology
With ever-increasing data center (DC) size and complexity, Data Centre Managers and IT professionals require the right configurations and equipment to covers everything needed to set up a reliable and resilient Data Centre, as well as remote management solutions that enable them to quickly and effectively access servers, network devices, and other mission-critical equipment
.
GreenPower GP is well-positioned to implement your Data Centre designs with precision and accuracy using the best quality products ensuring a conducive environment and best infrastructure for servers and other IT equipment
Communication in business is a critical factor for success be it voice, video or data. telecom infrastructure, therefore, mission-critical equipment that requires a stable and steady power supply.
Our DC Power System provides clean DC power to sensitive equipment, and at the same time charges the battery bank and supplies backup power during the main failure. Our system controllers vary and are highly sophisticated with an LVD device. We have a device that can manage up to 64 hot-swap rectifiers in parallel. Input voltages can be of one or three phases. DC to DC and DC to AC Inverters modules can also be
incorporated.
Telecom power supply can be categorized into AC – DC rectifier, DC -AC Inverter and DC-DC Converter. telecoms equipment often operates on low DC voltages for as low as 9VDC – 48VDC. Some telecom equipment operates with a special voltage of -48VDC. A rectifier module 1UDC is rated 48V 33.3A and can be cascaded to up to 48V 1226A.
We partner Gamatronic Solaredge Israel to deliver cutting edge telecoms power rectifiers which are ranked the best in terms of reliability up to 15 years of trouble-free operations and efficiency of 96%.
Gamatronic rectifiers come in modular designs allowing for N+I redundancy and low cost of system upgrade in case there is a need to increase your load.
AC -DC Rectifier
Gamatronic’s 1UDC+ power system provides clean DC power to sensitive equipment while simultaneously charging the battery bank. The unit also supplies backup power in the event of a power failure.
The system contains a 19” wide, 1U-high shelf that can hold up to three hot-plugged rectifiers, or two rectifiers + controller and LVD device (battery protection system).
The system at a height of 13U can be configured with a maximum of 13 shelves (38 rectifiers + controller) to reach an output of 1226A.
1UDC+ Rectifier Features:
100A for each 1U shelf
Digitally controlled power modules 1 – 3 rectifiers on each shelf; rectifiers can be swapped while the system is running The active current distribution between rectifiers Universal input voltage Built-in dual 70A ELVD Two External LVD protectors can be connected to a maximum of 1600A High performance hot-swap system controller used to measure, monitor, and control voltages, current, power, battery, temperature, etc. More than one set of batteries can be used Automatic, pre-programmed battery test (for each set of batteries) Equalizing/Floating charging technology Batteries can be electronically or mechanically protected from over-discharge Option to monitor battery temperature and adjust the temperature accordingly Battery current restriction Smart control and monitoring system with an SNMP interface
DC -AC Telecom Inverter
This DC-to-AC telecom inverter is designed by Gamatronic according to IEC’s specifications and is tested and approved by IEC. The inverter is fed with 220 VDC from the substation’s battery bank. The inverter’s output is 230 Vac at 50 Hz. It employs Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and is controlled by a 16-bit microprocessor. The inverter’s cabinet and the layout of its components are built as specified by the customer. Easy access to the terminals for all maintenance activities, is provided through the front panel of the cabinet.
The inverter is easy to operate; the controller includes an LCD screen on which input and output voltage, input (option) and output current, and system status information can be displayed. The controller maintains a log of the last 200 system events, including start-up, shutdown, and any system errors or alarms. The inverter can be connected to a computer via an RS232 link to view system status and measurements.
The communications card provides an SNMP link to a local or remote computer, for viewing system status or power measurements, and enables notification of system alarms via email.
DC-DC Converter
Gamatronic’s DC/DC Converter module converts a nominal 48V (42V – 61.5V) to a precise 24V (max 25A) output. Units can be installed in a parallel configuration, enabling N +1 redundancy and increased output.
1U power supplies can be used with the system Adaptable to system demands and specifications Two voltage converters with different output voltages, DC 48V or 24V can be used Can be controlled with a 1UDC controller
Multiple converters can be used in parallel for redundancy and higher output
Erratic power from the grid can be frustrating especially when you have to step out each time to switch ON/OFF the fossil fuel generator which often serves as the alternative. Our inverter backup power system will address all the frustration ensuring that you have a steady supply of electricity even with a long power outage from the utility.
GreenPower inverter backup power system can be designed
to operate pretty much any load you can imagine. The cost of these systems is directly proportional to the capacity. You must consider answers to these questions to pick the best backup solution:
Every backup power system (battery/inverter system) uses energy that is stored in batteries. Batteries are charged by several methods. In most inverter backup systems, the grid charges the batteries and keeps them charged and will recharge them once the grid comes back on.
A diesel generator can be used to charge the batteries, or the sun, wind or falling water; Batteries deliver to you the exact amount of power you require at that moment. The running time of the system is directly related to your load. For instance, if you know the outage will be long-term, you should only operate the most essential load; whereas if you know the outage will only be brief you can use up much more power knowing the batteries will be charged up by the grid when it comes back on.
Battery/inverter systems can be located almost anywhere, does not require the storage of fuel, maintenance, oil changes, or operators, etc.
With the addition of other charging sources such as solar or wind, your battery power system can replenish itself and allow for extended outages. There are tens of thousands of people that live their daily lives with a solar system as their primary source of power.
